[Question]: Where to put 2FA code #386
Comments
Once you configure add-on, and you can see in the logs message to provide MFA code, start integration. After a minute you should see the notification in setting with Eufy security integration needs attention, click on it and pop-up window will appear to provide MFA code |
Hi, thank you for the tip! However, I'm still having some trouble. When I restart the add-on, the log indicates that it's asking for an MFA code. I receive the code via email, but I don't get any notification in the settings—only two notifications about the Core and HAOS updates. |

also have this issue, getting the 2fa code on email but nowhere to enter it, no notifications. on latest version of eufy-security-ws and home assistant. |
Solved this for myself, i didnt yet have the HACS Eufy Security integration installed/configured as configuring eufy-security-ws is the first step. Once i set up Eufy Security in HACS its Eufy Security that prompted the 2FA notifications. |
Brilliant! I will try it tomorrow. |
yes this worked! |
Yes, it's all working now. Thanks tomfrom! |

Hi, shall I use 2FA? If yes, how do you put the code in?
