After having installed and configured a linux environment through the app, if I open my terminal and write "wsl" I am logged in as root, and my starting directory is /mnt/c/Users/user. This does not happen if I install and setup a wsl distro using Windows Powershell.
Solution
When I type "wsl" in my windows terminal, I want to be logged in as my user, and my starting directory should be my user account's home directory.
