After running the cleanup/shrink to one of my distros, when it finished, I tried to enter in WSL and I was logged in as root instead of my previous user.
No data was lost though. :)
Expected Behavior
To login as my previous default user as before.
Steps To Reproduce
I believe this issue can be triggered this way:
Install a brand new WSL distro from Microsoft Store
Configure it (i.e. set an user)
Trigger disk shrink/cleanup from Distro Manager
After it finishes, try logging in
Environment
- Windows Version: Windows 11 Pro 10.0.22631.1900
- WSL Distro Manager Version: 1.8.5
- WSL Version: 1.3.11.0
- Source: Windows Store
Is there an existing issue for this?
