Branching and version structure #112

Please check the branch structure if you encounter compilation problems.
You can confirm your version in the files library.json or library.properties. Check the main version number.

  • master/main
    This is the latest version with most recent features. It carries main version number 3. This branch is considered stable.

  • development
    This is the development branch. It is ahead of master with features under test.

  • v1
    In this branch lives the very first version of this library. It is still usable and stable but no development is going on here.

  • v2
    Version 2 is kept here. There is no development.

Other branches contain features/bugfixes and are only to be used in specific situations.
Small bugfixes can always be applied to all branches.
