From b26c192df45d65ae3d01da5f65c4dc5a1e39364a Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Murad Kasim Date: Fri, 11 Oct 2019 13:20:45 +0300 Subject: [PATCH] Transliteration - Bulgarian MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Add transliteration cases for Bulgarian usage of Cyrillic characters "Я" and "я". Bulgarian typers often use "Q" and "q" for "Я" and "я". Before making this pull request I have researched about cases when this transliteration might fail to work (like "Quantum computing"), but according my findings (and own experience) no one from Bulgaria would use "Q","q" for anything else except "Я" and "я". Therefore, I hope this merge is accepted. --- src/transliterate/contrib/languages/bg/data/default.py | 4 +++- 1 file changed, 3 insertions(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/src/transliterate/contrib/languages/bg/data/default.py b/src/transliterate/contrib/languages/bg/data/default.py index 1b5af04..a683dd9 100644 --- a/src/transliterate/contrib/languages/bg/data/default.py +++ b/src/transliterate/contrib/languages/bg/data/default.py @@ -24,5 +24,7 @@ u"Sh": u"Ш", u"Sht": u"Щ", u"Yu": u"Ю", - u"Ya": u"Я" + u"Ya": u"Я", + u"Q": u"Я", # Bulgarians typers often use "Q" for "Я".
