In the meantime, there evolved archlinux/archlinux-docker, which is also managed by Arch TUs.

Instead of closing down the repository, I'd think about changing the build script to simply link it to archlinux/base.

So, after the build starts to fail now and I'm not eager to put some work into it: I've deleted all tags for the repos on dockerhub. The repos are still there but are linking in the readme directly to archlinux/base.

So builds will fail hard, there is no "link image" or something else provided. But it'll move people to the direct image.
