Past theme directory refresh mockups

Hi folks, wanted to surface a couple of past theme directory designs to clarify that it is still valuable to get your input on these. You'll see if you dive in that the visual-only refresh that's currently ongoing and discussed/reviewed in issues in this repo is already departing from some of the designs outlined, so in some cases the mockups are lightly out of date. But there are still pieces that serve as good context for some of the work, such as the preview functionality.
