Custom pin on ios generated from a ContentView

Hi,
I tried generating a custom pin with an static image which worked fine but wanted to go another step and generate a pin based of a ContentView which can have dynamic data. I've tried doing this without any luck.

Attached is a sample project to test this theory. It works on Android just can't get it to work on ios.

Replication steps.

1. Build and deploy to ios device
2. Click the button
3. Confirm that no pin is displayed

Is this possible? Or if anyone else has any other ideas about this.
