Let it (as option) work like a 20 year old (not smart)-phone for elderly poeple #1247

I tried to set it up for my grandma, but failed. For older people already the touch with no real feedback by physical buttons is a challenge. Everything else should be as close as possible work like a 20 years old (dumb)phone - with options for more. But it should be possible to strip it down.

My point is: The great looking launcher is not fenced completely to make it work.
A few examples:

  • The volume settings (by keys) should be fixed, so that is not easy to change that unintended
  • In the most limited application (phone) there are just needed the first 3 icons. Would be great to have just this 3 (as an option)
  • My moto G34 makes it almost impossible to switch device off. Even myself has to check for a tutorial - there should be a way by workaround that.
  • I would like to have an option to neither make it required nor possible to swipe to another page or swipe down/up from lower/upper status bar.
  • My grandma wants to have it's landline: There is no option to include at least incoming VoIP calls seamless to the caller app.
  • The middle 6 icons leads to other apps - installed or not, that brakes the look and feel completely. That should be avoided or (as above mentioned) possible to opt out.

Although I do have some points here it looks promising so far. Please go on! Thanks for your great work so far, and maybe next I can handover a new phone to my grandma.
