Heatmap for daily notes that don't exist

So 100% new to this and 100% googling to solve this idea so a little support and patience please...

I am playing with the idea of scenarios where daily notes might not exist, plus they might exist but have false for the boolean - both meaning the same thing (false) and should default the heatmap to a specific color. Does anyone have ideas on how to do this or enhancements on how I did it below?

I built out a dataviewjs that fills entries[] with everyday for the year, gives it the default value, then updates those entries when daily notes with the correct property equaling true exists. Am I going about this weirdly?
