Is it in the spirit of NaNoGenMo to use LLMs?

My goal is a complete automated machine translation of a 14th century Italian text into "modern" English, using llama3.1 7b via the ollama API and Python. Source code to be provided.

Thoughts, comments?

Hmm, well it's within the rules (or within the rule), and for example "It could literally grab a random novel from Project Gutenberg", but NaNoGenMo entries usually have some amount of human creativity thrown into the mix.

I love this idea. This borders on useful and helpful, which most NaNoGenMo entries are decidedly not :)

I'll be using LLMs for my project this year!
