As a web user, I want to be navigated to the NYC Facilities link, so that I can access the website from the Built Environment section.
Description
NYC Facilities Link is broken in the Built Environment section. It is missing .gov.
What should happen:
User is able to view the NYC Facilities page after clicking the link present in the Built Environment Section
What happened instead:
User is not able to view the NYC Facilities page after clicking the link present in the Built Environment Section and is presented with a broken link error
Click on Search For a District Tab and select any district
Scroll down to Built Environment Section
Click on NYC Facilities Explorer link
Observe the "Site Can't Be Reached" Error
Browser(s) and Device(s) observed on:
Chrome Version 96.0.4664.110 (Official Build) (arm64)
MacBook Air (M1, 2020)
POSSIBLE SOLUTION:
It should be noted the NYC Facilities link is broken across all districts within Built Environment Section. I took the liberty to look into it a little bit further and noticed that scrolling down to the Facilities section there is another hyperlink to NYC Facilities that works. My recommendation would be to update the present link within Built Environment section from http://capitalplanning.nyc/facilities to https://capitalplanning.nyc.gov/facilities. As you can see, the link is broken because it is missing ".gov". Updating this will fix the pending issue immediately.
