There seems to be no dedicated repository for the bitcoin only firmware.
The code can be built with an CMake switch -DBTC_ONLY=true which will result in the Bitcoin only firmware.

My issue was trying to read the changelogs based on a different version number

1.1.4-BTC
Vs
1.8.2
