I am pretty new to laser engraving. Here's what im working with. Just got the Creality laser etcher attachment for my Ender 3, and I am trying to export some gcode using J Tech Photonics Laser Tool, version 1. I am running Inkscape version 1.0.1.
So here's what is going on. If I import an image/ text box and then move that image/ text box anywhere else on the canvas, i get this error when i try to generate the gcode
And then my preview looks like this:
You can kinda see all the little arrows on where I originally placed the text box "testing 123". But when I repositioned the "testing 123" box to the bottom left-hand side of the canvas, it didn't update.
Does anyone have a clue what's going on here?
Thanks!
Landon

I had similar issues and the only way it worked for me was when I was tracing bitmaps. Everything else was scattered mostly outside the canvas...
I'd love hear the solution from someone who figured it out
