Sort by last updated, tagged (version), committed. So you can filter out the more or least active ones.

Good points Daniel... this could also be coupled with some stats about which plugins/themes are using which framework.

e.g. do we see an increase in plugins using framework XYZ? the current limitation is that this would be based on WordPress.org data, but I think it would be interesting to dig into it...

@itibook - Luckily for us api.wordpress.org/plugins should have everything we need ;).

The last committed etc though would have to come directly from Github but should be simple enough when the other info is pulled.
