unclear how to remove feature

I personally don't like the feature that highlights selected nodes in beamng, but it's unclear on how to disable it, or change its representation in beamng

There would have to be a change inside of BeamNG because the plugin only selects the node in BeamNG and does not change how it is displayed

It is also possible to implement a setting that would completely deactivate the node selecting inside of VScode
