@cuemarie this is odd, i logged in again, into another site and i have the same issue. I tested it in Chrome.

@mdomocos interesting, thanks for checking another site! It looks like if the Interface Language under https://wordpress.com/me/account is set to EN GB or English (UK), that's where the Bucarest spelling occurs, no matter what browser:

The problem was the typo in this string in Glotpress: https://translate.wordpress.com/projects/wpcom/en-gb/default/?filters%5Bterm%5D=Bucharest&filters%5Bterm_scope%5D=scope_any&filters%5Bstatus%5D=current_or_waiting_or_fuzzy_or_untranslated&filters%5Buser_login%5D=&filters%5Bview%5D=&filter=Filter&sort%5Bby%5D=priority&sort%5Bhow%5D=desc

It should be fixed once the translations are released again (usually on Mondays)!

The translations were deployed and I can see the spelling correctly on my end now with UK English:
