Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. Create a post.
2. Set a past date easy to remember
3. Trash the post
4. Restore the post

What I expected to happen

The restored post's original date should be preserved.

What actually happened

The original post date was replaced with the date of the moment when it was restored.

Context

A user (3731668-zen) deleted 700 of their posts by mistake and when they restored themm they noticed the order was messed up.

• Consistently reproduceable.
• Affects both simple and AT sites.
• This affects all sites but it is not a blocker.

I can't replicate this anymore. When I trash a post, it restores it at the right date but sets it to a draft. Closing this out!
