Quick summary

I am attempting to insert some JSON-LD structured data in a page on a WordPress instance running Independent Publisher 2. However, whenever I use a Code Block or the Code Editor to add the code snippet, the code keeps being displayed as text instead of rendering properly in the source code. Looping through older issues - this seems related to the capabilities of the Code block on WordPress.com sites on the free plan - and is not theme specific.
