fan control on relay

Hey guys, im testing my setup and have found a problem i am unable to resolve. Ive got a waveshare relay bored on a RPI4b, this was added to run a 12v dew heater along side a DHT22 sensor, which is working fine with the allsky dew control (the debug shows the dew control picking up the sensor). My issue is the 3 pin fan. i cannot figure out what GPIO pins to put my fans data cable in, in order to get it to work with control allsky fans module. Ive tried a few GPIOs with no luck, ive also noticed on the debug the module isnt picking up the DHT22 sensor even though the dew heater module is so im at a loss. any hep would be brilliant.

Few things I would check

1. Make sure the fan is a 5volt fan and not a 12volt fan. I tend to use the 'Noctua NF-A4x20 5V PWM' fans
2. Normally a 3pin fan has positive (red), ground (black) and RPM (yellow) so make sure the connections are right, if it is a 5v fan try powering it directly from 5v to make sure its working
3. Its not a PWM fan so make sure that option is not selected in the fans module

Can you set the debug level to 4 and see whats in the /var/log/allskyperiodic.log file

I got it sorted, so stupid! I was saving the modual setting but not clicking save on the modules menu so the changes weren't being applied! When I tell you've I've been troubleshooting this for hours...

I'll create an issue to get that looked at as it should be more obvious that you need to save the flow
