Hi,
I understand, that the addon is able to connect via TCP to the vcontrold server on the remote host where the optolink is connected to. Alternativly, I would rather run the vcontrold on the HA server, and forward the optolink serial port from the remote host via ser2net to the HA server. Is this somehow possible?

Yes I did it with ESPHOME ... An ESP32 that is connected to the Vissmann vitocal200-S via a DIY optolink and used this code:

@AlirezaT how did you configure the home assistant vcontrol add-on to connect to the esp ?
